As said by Afghanistan’s ambassador to India that the situation in Afghanistan is ‘difficult, dire and problematic’ hence Afghanistan wants India to send this message to Taliban that if they cut ties with ‘regional terrorist groups’ and renounce violence to become part of the ‘mainstream society’, it will continue to aid and assist Afghanistan politically and diplomatically.

Indian projects in Afghanistan are at risk because Taliban is covering major areas specially the northern province of Afghanistan. Around 3 billion USD of India is at stake in various projects in all 34 province of Afghanistan.

Afghanistan wants that Taliban should get this message from India if it wants India’s support in the country and Taliban should also leave the path of violence to become the part of mainstream society.

Indian personnel were evacuated from the consulate in Kandahar to avoid any ‘potential’ and ‘unwanted catastrophe’. This decision was taken after the Afghan government’s estimation showed that security was an ‘issue’ in Kandahar.
Currently Afghanistan has got support from US and NATO forces and it is capable of utilizing them efficiently.

Afghanistan has requested Pakistan to motivate Taliban to bring it to the negotiating table. With the withdrawal of the US troops China, Saudi Arabia, Russia and UAE are also playing there part in the present situation of Afghanistan.
