  • 'Samudrayaan' Mission: Part of DOM, crewed expedition to 6,000m depth using 'Matsya6000' submersible.
  • Matsya6000 Features: Titanium sphere for 3 aquanauts, speed of 5.5 km/hr, and scientific equipment.
  • Significance: Supports the 'New India 2030' blue economy objective and aligns with the 'Decade of Ocean Science.'
  • Challenges: High pressure, soft ocean bed, energy demands, poor visibility, and environmental factors.
